It is very important when ordering a harness to give us accurate measurements, or else the harness might not fit!
Take all measurements wearing casual clothing. Do NOT add to measurements or wear your biggest winter jacket. Please indicate if you want a tight fit or a loose fit.
A. Armpit to Hip Joint
Place a magazine or small book under your armpit and measure from the top of the magazine to the place where your leg joins your body (usually where they place the rivet on jeans). Do NOT measure to your hip bone. The purpose of this measurement is to determine the length of the chest piece. The chest piece needs to be long enough to support the weight of the hips but not so long that it would interfere with running.
B. Armpit to Knee
Measure from the armpit, the same as in the previous example, to your knees.
C. Armpit to Floor w/ shoes
Measure from the armpit, the same as in the previous example, to the floor. Wear your usual flying shoes while measuring.
D. Circumference of Chest
Measure around the widest part of your chest. For women; be sure to compress your breasts so that the measurement is taken as if you were laying down in your harness.
E. Circumference of Waist
Measure around the widest part of your waist. This measurement is to ensure that your harness will fit even if your gut is wider then your butt.
F. Circumference of Hips
Measure around the widest part of your hips. This is generally around the buttocks area and not actually around the hip bones.
Just write your normal height measurement.
Please write your weight in pounds.
I. Shoe Size
Please write U.S. sizes
J. Circumference Shoes
Make a comfortable circle around the shoes that you would usually wear while flying and measure that.
